Following the races at Sugarloaf, EISA is pleased to announce the first two skiers of the week.
Allie Resnick ran away with the title this week, besting a competitive women's field in both the Slalom and Giant Slalom. She won three out of four runs, flexing to win in near-dominant fashion. The Junior from Dartmouth is also a member of the US Ski Team and is a reigning All-American in Giant Slalom.

While there were undoubtedly some dominant performances on the men's side, most struggled to put together top results both days. This stands in juxtaposition to the dominance of the University of Vermont last season. This week, the award goes to Dan Gillis, also of Dartmouth, who put down a second place in the Slalom and added a sixth in the GS. This represents Gillis's first skier of the week honors.
"I was excited with how the team skied this weekend" said Gillis, "we know we have really good speed on our team and are excited to carry the momentum into the next races." His and Resnick's efforts gave Dartmouth the combined carnival win over an incredibly strong UVM squad.

Other skiers will be looking to add their names to the selective list this week at Stowe for the University of Vermont Carnival.
