The Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association announces the week two Alpine Skiers of the Week after the Saint Lawrence Carnival at iconic Whiteface Mountain.
The top male and female skier are chosen each week with no skier being named Athlete of the Week more than once per year, except for regional championships. Athletes are determined by combining the place results from the weekend with the lowest total winning.
Brad Underhill from Middlebury College takes the men's honors after winning both the Slalom and GS at the Saint Lawrence Carnival. He has now racked up three victories in four opportunities.
Fellow Panther, Mika Reha takes the women's honors after placing fourth in the GS race and seventh in the Slalom race. This represents her second time winning Skier of the Week honors after nabbing the honors last year after the Williams Carnival/ Catamount Slalom.
The Panthers will look to keep the momentum going in two weeks at the Saint Michael's Carnival.
