The Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association announces the week two Alpine Skiers of the Week after the Saint Michael's Carnival at Smugglers Notch.
The top male and female skier are chosen each week with no skier being named Athlete of the Week more than once per year, except for regional championships. Athletes are determined by combining the place results from the weekend with the lowest total winning.
Jayden Buckrell from the University of New Hampshire takes the men's honors after a tenth-place finish in the Slalom and his first collegiate podium in GS, where he took third. The first-year is now well in the mix for Rookie of the Year.
Zoe Zimmerman from Dartmouth takes the women's honors. She finished ninth in the GS and backed it up with a fourth-place finish in the Slalom. She currently sits atop the Slalom standings after compiling a win, a third and now a fourth.
