The Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association announces the week six Alpine Skiers of the Week after the Regional Championships at Cannon Mountain hosted by the University of New Hampshire.
The top male and female skier are chosen each week with no skier being named Athlete of the Week more than once per year, except for regional championships. Athletes are determined by combining the place results from the weekend with the lowest total winning.
Oscar Zimmer from Dartmouth takes the men's honors after winning the GS on Friday and finishing third in the Slalom on Saturday. The results mark his best finishes in Slalom and GS this season.
Justine Clement from the University of Vermont takes the women's honors with a win in the GS and a third place finish in the Slalom.
With the NCAA Championships just over a week away the racers will have their eyes on All-American honors or better when they take on the skiers of the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association.
